From One Person to 50+ Strong
The Beginning
We started this company with a raw passion for solving problems and helping people accomplish things with technology that they couldn't do on their own.
2002 — The Gap
In 2002, we saw what many growing businesses faced: they needed enterprise-quality IT support but couldn't afford enterprise prices. So we founded Teck Shield in Brevard County to bridge that gap—delivering expertise and responsiveness without the overhead.
The First Win
A customer needed to establish a secure connection between offices so they could stop carrying files between locations. We made it happen. The customer said "this feels like magic." That excitement never faded.
The Shift
As the team grew, the role evolved. Leadership focused on becoming a caretaker for the team—enabling 50+ professionals to deliver that same passion and care to every client.
Today
What began as one person has grown into a team of over 50 professionals delivering People-First IT leadership across healthcare, financial services, and beyond. The formula hasn't changed: hire great people, take care of them, and let them take care of clients.
